The Kentucky winner has the choice between receiving the full $167.3 million paid out over 30 years as an annuity, or taking the $77.3 million lump sum. Both figures are before taxes are applied. The annuity option includes an immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by 5% each year.
