Sperbeck is said to have fallen onto and hit his head on the asphalt surface. He was found unconscious but still breathing at the scene, having sustained what is described as a traumatic head injury.
CAL FIRE responded to the incident, and a spokesperson confirmed transporting a patient who had fallen from a golf cart to a local trauma center, initially in unknown condition. Sperbeck was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs. Reports from outlets like TMZ indicate he is currently on life support and the prognosis is not favorable.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that an investigation has been opened into the golf cart accident. However, they noted that law enforcement was not called to the scene immediately when the incident occurred.
